Reasonably priced take away food or eat on the terrace for that matter if it’s not raining. Great selection of hot and cold sandwiches of various sizes, if you are hungry and feeling brave try a large one. On a sunny there is a great atmosphere outside on the terrace with locals, tradesmen, cyclists and walkers popping in constantly for breakfast or dinner (yes this place is in Lancashire where dinner is at dinner time)- Service

- Difficult to get in the shop because of its size and a step. However if you go to the right hand window they will serve you there.

Always busy, always a great sandwich, wrap, panini or salad, not cheap but they're good and on the better portioned side. Sometimes they can close earlier when they run out of food so don't leave it too late for a lunch run.

Called here this morning after visiting Whalley Warm and Dry outdoor clothing shop. Lovely coffee and excellent bakewell slice. Staff were very cheerful and helpful. We even bought pies to take home to freeze. Would definitely call again when in the area.

A big round of applause for the young ladies who busily serve customers all day long. Dishing up the kind of fodder you will gladly fork out your hard earned cash for. I had the spam and egg teacake with brown sauce and my wife had the well done egg with red sauce. We were very pleased with them both and we will definitely go back next time. They do a large selection of sandwiches both hot and cold and sell hot and cold beverages too. For afters there are some yummy looking cakes. If you are in the area and need sustenance, go here. You will not be disappointed- Service

Lunch on the hoof takeaway with the bonus of decent seats and tables outside. Good food, good folk and surprisingly good prices. The cakes are house brick sized and great for the cyclist passing through
Lovely ladies and superb food. They do a delicious meat and chilli pie…..

CJ's is a brilliant shop. Sandwiches are full of goodness. Not full of just salad, plenty of salmon, cheese, chicken etc. A real meal in a bun. Perfect.
I bought a pie and my word it's the best pie I have ever eaten. Beef and chilli, not too much pastry and packed with flavour.
Ab fab butty shop, lots of choice and great grub stopped for a bacon butty and coffee while out for a bike ride, seating outside.
